Demdex, a well-funded venture-backed start-up is seeking an Integrations Engineer to help develop a revolutionary new product that will continue to transform the online advertising industry. We have created a SaaS platform that provides unique solutions for tier-one clients to extract maximum value from their data and empower them to manage their “audiences”. Our clients include on-line publishers, ecommerce companies, ad networks, ad agencies, media giants and technology companies. The on-line advertising and audience management industry is heating up and we are uniquely positioned for tremendous growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in assessing the technical fit of customer requirements to company’s products and services
- Assist in carrying out client on-boarding and custom coding for new and existing clients
- Provide advice and help, including hands-on coding and debugging, to make prospective and existing customers successful.
- Impart key technical, product and company information to advance an opportunity while maintaining a professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Maintain direct communication with clients in person, via email, and by phone
Experience & skills required:
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- At least 2 years experience in a customer-facing technical role, preferably as a sales engineer
- Strong development and debugging skills in JavaScript and Java
- Understanding of how ad exchanges work and familiarity with online advertising concepts and language
- BS degree
This position is full-time in New York City. Candidates must be US citizens or have secured appropriate work visas. Candidates must also be within daily commuting distance of Manhattan or willing to relocate.
